Vitamix Container Varieties
Vitamix offers a range of different containers for the blenders, from short and wide, to tall and skinny, adapters, aerators, and more. The one question that can be hard to answer without some research is what containers work on each model. Vitamix has several lines of blenders that use, as they call it, different “platforms”. There are the C-Series and G-Series which are referred to as classic series, the newer Ascent Series, and the Space Saving which we won’t cover in this guide.
What Blenders Vitamix Are In Each Series
The C-Series contains the TurboBlend Three Speed, 5200, 5300, and E310. These are the smaller sized models.
The G-Series contains the 7500, Professional Series 750. These are the midrange and full sized models.
The Ascent Series contains the A2300, A2500, A3300, and A3500. These are the high end models and have special containers with extra features.
What can the Containers Do?
Vitamix offers a range of container sizes that are great for different tasks. They offer smaller containers at 32 Oz. and 48 Oz. which are best for smaller batches, and help with thicker mixtures that will get stuck to the sides of larger containers. They also offer a short and wide version of their classic 64 Oz. container that is easier to store in shorter cabinets.
Beyond the normal containers Vitamix offers special containers like the new AerDisc Container that can whip, emulsify, muddle, and foam with its unique metal fixture that replaces the standard blades.
The Ascent series containers offer new functionality with their SELF-DETECT system. This allows the motor base to detect which container you’ve placed on the machine, and alter its pre-programmed setting accordingly. This may not benefit everybody, but is very convenient if you are switching your batch sizes but need the same programs.
Beyond the containers, Vitamix has some nice additions to your Vitamix set. These include additional Tampers for different sized containers, Tamper Holders, and scrapers. We’ll include some
